The acquisition expands Harvey Gulf?s vessel classes and allows Harvey Gulf to broaden its service offering to customers in the U.S. GOM. Bouchard Funds Sim Center Bouchard Transportation Co., Inc. will donate $750,000 to the State university of New York (SUNY) Maritime Col- lege?s Throgs Neck Campus to establish the Bouchard Transportation Company, Inc., Tug and Barge Simulation Center. The center will offer full mission bridge simulators, instruction stations and a de-brieÞ ng area where instructors can meet with students to discuss navigation, sea-manship and bridge resource manage-ment skills required in the operation of tug and barges. The simulation center is slated to open in 2014.Winners of Ferry Design Competition The results of the World Ferry Safety As- sociation (WFSA) international student design competition for a Safe Afford- able Ferry were announced.
