Hurricane Katrina made landfall on Aug. 29, 2005, at approximately 7:10 a.m. EDT, and has left a wide swath of destruction in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama. See additional photos on page 43. He raised $4,000 for AIDS charities in New York State. Collectively the 35 participating riders raised more than $200,000.
