Managing the execution of corporate plans with cost levels in excess of several bil- lion dollars: Managing projects thai ensure that design work for all vessels under construction or under contract are completed in a time- l\ fashion: Executing the engineering and architectural phases of all new building projects; Reviewing and recommending new methods and procedures to ensure adequate coordination between functional areas in corporate headquarters, the shipyard and efficient daily oper- ations; Managing directly the work of the new build teams that work at the shipyards, currently in Finland, German}, and France; Reporting the status of all new builds under construction; Developing, review ing and recommending overall objectives, policies and proce- dures for all functional areas; Formulating, recommending, and implementing operational policies for all functional areas; Setting pri- orities for all functional areas; Working w ith subordinate siaff mem- bers to assess overall functional coordination; Evaluating monthly, quarterly, and yearly results and taking appropriate action: Monitoring the external environment and identifying opportunities to fulfill Marine Operations strategic plans: Participating with executive and senior management in the development of strategic goals and objec- tives; Exercising the usual authority of a Vice President concerning stalling, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommenda- tions and terminations: and Managing 80-100 technical and support members.
