Termed GAMP (Global Account-Based Market- ing Plan), the system gives field reps, at their laptops, accurate and up-to-date data for making decisions locally. The system permits reps and management to track and project volumes of cargoes, determine the most profitable mix of cargo on a ship, and ensure that ships are not over- or under-subscribed. Broden's solution synchronizes data, so in less than 15 minutes Maersk's corpo- rate office managers and field represen- tatives receive updated data.
