New & Notable WaveMaster Ahead Of Schedule With Ferry WaveMaster International launched its innovative 164 ft. (50 m) high-speed monohull ferry — one week ahead of schedule — on April 29. The vessel is known as the largest aluminum mono- hull ferry to be exported by an Aus- tralian shipyard to Europe. Christened as Speedy, the ferry's con- struction commenced in December 1999. Following four weeks of sea tri- als, the vessel will be delivered to its owners in Germany.
