WE WEREN'T WORRIED ABOUT TOWING THE USS NEW JERSEY THROUGH THE PANAMA CANAL AFTER ALL. WE HAD THIS MUCH ROOM TO SPARE OH EITHER SIDE When there's no room for error, Uncle Sam counts on Crowley. In the past two years, we've towed three of the Navy's most historic and hallowed vessels to their final berths. Just months ago, we towed the USS New Jersey from Washington up the Delaware River to her new home on the East Coast. It was a voyage that included squeezing through the Panama Canal with only eight inches to spare on either side. Our pros were also there every step of the way when we towed the aircraft carrier Oriskany over 15,000 miles, from California through the Strait of Magellan (some seriously fierce waters) to Texas. And last year, we delivered the USS Missouri to her final berth in Pearl Harbor. All of these vessels played key roles in our nation's naval history. That's why they were entrusted to a company that's been making maritime history for over a century. Care to join us? For more information, call I-8OO-CROWLEY.
