Combining their innovative and high speed operation, the jets are able to cover the 65 nautical miles between the Port and the Island in 99 minutes. Flying over the sea's surface, the JetFoils leave no wake and can absorb shock waves up to 19 ft. (5.7 m) — with little or no movement in passenger cab- ins.
