Aker Maritime Aker Maritime is one of the largest inter- national companies involved with the safe and profitable exploitation of offshore oil and gas resources. By the year 2000 the company aims to double its revenues com- pared with 1996 and quadruple profits to 1 billion. The company's 1997 report touches on many aspects of their corporate strategy. These include maintaining their position as the leading supplier of floating production facilities, while continuing to grow in the product area, with an emphasis on organic growth in the equipment companies.
