MARINE PAINTS & COATINGS C-Shield's ICCP Hull Protection Systems Fitted in 1000 Ships CathelCo Ltd. has reportedly applied its C-Shield of protection to more than 1,000 hulls around the world. This compact control panel (ICCP) system provides the advan- tage of a smaller control panel design and weight. CathelCo has also developed a range of surface- mounted linear loop, elliptical and circular recessed anodes which can reportedly be used in various com- binations to provide optimum hull protection for ships of any size. The robot can reportedly work up to 100 ft. vertically and 300 ft. hor- izontally from the support machin- ery and En-vac fits through tank manways and requires no tenting of the work area. The 977 model includes a single pur- pose feature that allows for use on both ferrous and non-ferrous sur- faces and dual purpose models for use on all metal surfaces. Thehand-held gauge is capable of storing up to 26,000 data entry points.
