STN Atlas Taken Over An Anglo-German consortium comprising Rheinmetall AG, Badenwerk AG and British Aerospace has acquired STN Atlas Elektronik, a leading electronic systems company and leading sup- plier of marine equipment. The company was acquired from the bankrupt Bremer Vulkan Group, and under the $353 million deal, Rheinmetall and Bad*r^erl: will retain a>5ljbercrat\jflflingcqr. STN Atlas,>^*th fcheinMetalf assuming overail management control. British Aerospace's stake is 49 percent. The company will continue to be based in Bremen.
