HMS Penzance is the sixth vessel of its class for the Royal Navy, and the first of seven VT will build over the next four years. The Royal Navy will ultimately have a fleet of 13 Hunt class and 12 Sandown class mine counter- measure ships, with 23 of the ves- sels built by VT.
