The meetings, were held at RTM STAR Center's simulation, training and research facilities in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. According to Harry J. Crooks, chairman of IMSF, there is a grow- ing demand for the use of simulators in the certification and licensing of mariners, and he noted that the U.S. Coast Guard recently approved the use of simulators in the certifica- tion of an Unlimited Master's Li- cense at the RTM STAR Center.
