Corps Names New Engineer For Portland District The Portland District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, recently named Maj. Steven G. Wabnitz as its new deputy district engineer. Maj. Wabnitz, who assumed the posi- tion June 8, replaced Maj. Rich- ard E. Dadisman, who retired. The Portland District, one of four districts in the Corps' North Pacific Division, has responsibility for the Dorps' water resource activities in Western Oregon and part of South- western Washington. Most recently, Maj.
