Sapa has consider- able experience in producing high- class aluminum reefer grating, and by the end of 1992 the company will have supplied more than 200,000 square meters of reefer grating to approximately 40 different vessels. Aluminum reefer gratings are used as floors in cargo holds in order to transport refrigerated air under the gratings, into the cargo holds. This helps in the transportation of both fresh and frozen cargo.
