SHIPYARD CONSTRUCTION REPRESENTATIVE The School of Oceanography, University of Washington is soliciting applications for a Prospective Operator's Repre- sentative to serve during the building of the new Navy research ship, AGOR-23 at the construction yard. Applicants should have an educational background in Marine Engineer- ing or Naval Architecture, prior experience in shipyard con- struction, and a good working knowledge of oceanographic research operations. The projected term of employment is approximately 3 years starting mid-July 1988 (estimated award date of con- struction contract by the Navy). Location of the construction yard will be announced when the award is made. Monthly salary will be $3300-3800, depending on qualifications.
