Applicants must have broad technical backgrounds and at least 10 years of shipyard and/or design of- fice experience in both commercial and naval ship design. An advanced degree would be a definite as- set. The marine engineering candidate should have a strong electrical and mechanical background, and the naval architectural candidate should have a strong background in computer-aided design and project management, and both candidates must possess good communication skills.
