SNAME Ship Production Symposium Scheduled For September 11-13 The 1985 Ship Production Sym- posium sponsored by the Ship Pro- duction Committee of The Society of Naval Architects and Marine En- gineers will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Long Beach, Cal- if., September 11-13. The sympo- sium is part of SNAME's National Shipbuilding Research Program, which has the theme, "Moving Ahead with Implementation of Ad- vanced Technology." Session topics will include facili- ties and environmental effects, sur- face preparation and painting, edu- cation and training, design/produc- tion integration, standards and specifications, outfitting and pro- duction aids, navy ship production, and others.
