To be built at Samsung's Koje Shipyard, the carrier will have an overall length of 754.6 feet, beam of 151 feet, depth of 63 feet, and scantling draft of 44.6 feet. Main propulsion will be provided by a Korean-built B&W 5L80MCE diesel developing 15,950 bhp at 83 rpm. Cruising speed will be 15.4 knots. The tanker will be classed by Lloyd's Register of Shipping and fly the Australian flag. Following de- livery in July 1986, she will operate between Australia and the Middle East. AMP Appoints Green Marketing Director For Transportation Group Donald T. Green has recently been appointed associate marketing director for the Transportation Marketing Group of AMP Special Industries, Valley Forge, Pa. In his new capacity, Mr. Green will have responsibility for the sales and marketing of AMP products to the following industries: railroads, mass transit signal and equipment manufacturers, shipbuilding, the United States Navy, General Avia- tion, the operating airlines, the FAA and truck and bus manufacturers.
