Birdsall Appointed Manager Of Geological Operations For Longhorn Barton C. Birdsall has been ap- pointed manager of geological operations for Longhorn Oil and Gas Company, Oklahoma City, Okla., privately held independent exploration and production firm active both onshore and offshore, primarily in the Gulf Coast, Mid- continent and Rocky Mountain areas of the United States. Reporting to John S. Porter, vice president of exploration, Mr. Birdsall will coordinate Long- horn's domestic exploration activ- ities, with primary emphasis on developmental operations, said Jack Phillips, president and chief executive officer of Longhorn Oil and Gas Company.
