C.A. Tomassoni Joins Designers & Planners In Design/Economics Post Carlos A. Tomassoni Carlos A. Tomassoni has joined Designers & Planners, Inc. as di- rector, ship design and marine economics. The announcement was made recently by Ferd Serim, president of the company. Design- ers & Planners is a firm of naval architects and marine engineers with offices in New York, Wash- ington, and Galveston. In this new capacity, Mr. To- massoni will be responsible for early stages in ship design and marine economics activities for both commercial and naval ves- sels. He reports to Wolfgang Reuter, executive vice president. Mr. Tomassoni is a naval ar- chitect with 18 years of experi- ence in ship design. Prior to join- ing Designers & Planners, Inc., he was employed by John J. Mc- Mullen Associates, the Advanced Marine Technology Division of Litton Industries, and most re- cently with HYDRONAUTICS, Inc., where he reached the posi- tion of head, Naval Architecture Division.
