Richard S. Bliss Named Executive Vice President For Matson Terminals Richard S. Bliss Matson Terminals, Inc., has ap- pointed Richard S. Bliss to the newly established position of ex- ecutive vice president. He has served as vice president, area manager, southern California, for Matson Navigation Company, par- ent company of Matson Terminals, Inc., for the past three years, and before that held various executive positions with Matson Terminals. John C. Couch, Matson vice president, area manager, northern California, since January, will re- place Mr. Bliss as vice president, area manager, southern Califor- nia, in Los Angeles. Barry L. Prince, Matson gen- eral sales manager, has been named area manager, northern California, and Edward P. Bow- man, assistant general sales man- ager, has been promoted to gen- eral sales manager. $3.7-Million Navy Contract Awarded To Southwest Marine The Naval Sea Systems Com- mand has awarded a $3.7-million contract to Southwest Marine of San Francisco Inc., for routine repairs to the aircraft carrier Coral Sea.
