This yard was building ships in Canada when most of them were made of wood. Today we are fully abreast of the technological advances which have enhanced the quality of modern steel ships. Our "Marindus" design for cargo vessels and tankers enjoys worldwide recognition. One of a series of 17,000 dwt multipurpose cargo vessels designed and built by Marine Industries Limited. Intended especially for general cargo, they are readily adapted to carry containers. These ships are highly automated and equipped with the most modern navigational aids.
