Willamette-Western is a Portland-headquartered diversi- fied service, marine and heavy con- struction company. Mr. Ray has been marine opera- tions manager at Willamette Tug & Barge since 1959, when he joined the organization. The firm operates a fleet of 29 tugs, 17 water cranes, and 53 cargo barges from its base in Portland. Dart Containerline Appoints Giudice Henry X. Diercxsens, vice presi- dent, container services of Dart Containerline Incorporated, New York, N.Y., has announced the ap- pointment of Anthony J. Giudice as traffic manager for Dart Con- tainerline's United Kingdom serv- ices. Mr. Giudice was formerly with Barber Lines and Texas Transport and Terminal Company, after hav- ing served as traffic manager for Cunard Steamship Company Lim- ited for many years. Marine Coatings Conference Scheduled For May 5-6 In N.Y. The Eleventh Annual Marine Coatings Conference will be held May 5-6, 1971, in New York City. The theme of the conference, sponsored by the National Paint, Varnish and Lacquer Association, Washington, D.C., is "Marine In- dustry—Total Concept."
