He can now instruct and certify craft instructors. Carl Wegener was hired as Director of Commercial Sales for Louisiana- based boat manufacturer Metal Shark Aluminum Boats. Wegener brings a diversiÞ ed background in engineer- ing, strategic planning, and business development with 25 years of experi- ence in the shipbuilding industry. Retired Coast Guard OfÞ cer Brian Hall has joined Bouchard Transporta- tion as Southern Port Captain/Vetting Manager. Hall brings with him more than 25 years of experience in marine safety, security and environmental protection. A graduate of Maine Mar- itime Academy with a degree in Ma- rine Engineering, Hall most recently worked as the Technical Operations Manager for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines.Maximillian Natzet has been named a Supervising Engineer in the Virginia Beach ofÞ ce of Parsons Brinckerhoff, a global infrastructure strategic consulting, engineering, and program/construction management organization. In his new position he is responsible for managing ports and marine projects in the Southeastern U.S. Bradley Kerr previously worked with Enman & Associates as its Direc- tor of Sales at the Detyens Shipyards facility in N. Charleston, SC. His new responsibilities will be to continue support of the existing international agent network, develop new interna- tional markets, help facilitate domes- tic sales and marketing and provide an amenity platform to Technical Su- perintendents during the yard period. Kerr has been in the marine industry for the past 16 years. The American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) has elected Kris- tin Decas , CEO and port director for the Port of Hueneme as its chair for AAPAÕs 2014-2015 activity year. Capt. Stuart Miller has rejoined Crowley Maritime CorporationÕs TI- TAN Salvage operations team as sal- vage master, bringing with him over 30 years of worldwide salvage experience. Crowley Maritime Corporation re- cently presented U.S. Merchant Ma- rine Academy (USMMA) Midship- man Kevin Berto with the Maritime Security Enhancement Award during the AcademyÕs award convocation. A graduate of Maine Maritime Academy, Harris sailed for several years as a U.S. Merchant Mariner. In 1972, he received a masterÕs degree in business administra- tion from Babson College.
