Marine Response Alliance Relocates Marine Response Alliance (MRA), an association of U.S. emergency re- sponders providing OPA 90 Salvage Marine FireÞ ghting (SMFF), has relo- cated from Pompano, Fla., to Houston to be situated with international salvage partner TITAN Salvage. Conveniently located near George Bush Interna- tional airport, the new ofÞ ce boasts a 102,500 square-foot maintenance and warehousing facility with 4.61 acres of outside storage. The facility includes a state-of-the-art Emergency Response Center manned 24/7, which will act as MRAÕs incident command center as needed during a casualty and be uti-lized for clientsÕ pro-active needs such as drills, exercises and training. Water Campus to be Built in Baton RougeThe Baton Rouge Area Foundation has taken the leadership role in master planning a world-class Water Campus to be built just south of the Missis- sippi River Bridge in downtown Ba- ton Rouge. The 30 acre campus will be the home of The Water Institute of the Gulf, an independent applied re- search organization currently focused on producing and providing unassail- able scientiÞ c solutions to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority as it works to implement LouisianaÕs $50 billion Coastal Protection and Restoration Plan.
