The vessel was recently re-powered with a set of new MTU 16V4000 engines and Reintjes reduction gears. The engine manufacturer's 2-year warranty is transferable. The Flying Cloud has Kamewa waterjets, a full MDI ride control system with both t-foils and stern-mounted interceptors, a fully integrat- ed bridge with 2 Raytheon ARPA radar sets, Vistar night vision, TRANSAS chart plotter, CCTV system, port and starboard wing controls and is USCG-certified for 300 passengers and crew.
