U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command Central Technical Activity (N00033-92-C- 1208). International Shipholding, New Orleans, La. $57.1 million time charter contract for the char- ter of Atlantic Forest. The contract is for 17 months with two 17-month options. Atlantic Forest is a LASH vessel currently flying the Liberian flag. The ship will be reflagged U.S. and renamed upon delivery, and will become part of Military Sealift Command's Afloat Prepositioning Force at Diego Garcia. The contract is for 17 months with two 17-month options. The MV Green Wave will be used as the Diego Garcia/Guam shuttle for the point to point delivery of DOD cargo.
