Sea Recovery Provides
Custom- Or Pre-Designed
Reverse Osmosis Units
Reliability has always been of the
utmost importance in all commer-
cial applications of reverse osmosis
desalination, whether on a commer-
cial fishing vessel, offshore drilling
platform or cruise ship. And there
are times when the special require-
ments of a customer do not fit the
specifications of a pre-designed
commercial unit.
Recently, the U.S. military ap-
proached Sea Recovery Corp., Gar-
dena, Calif., with a request for a
watermaker of their own specifica-
tions, capable of producing 9,000
U.S. gallons per day. In addition to
all normally included features, the
unit needed to function automati-
cally by utilizing a microprocessor
to monitor and adjust all feedback
and pressure valves.
Within three days after speaking
with a Sea Recovery engineer, plans
had been completed for the manu-
facturing of the order.
Specifications for a reverse osmo-
sis desalinator may include special
requirements of size, capacity, auto-
mation, and feed water sources.
Sea Recovery engineers can dis-
cuss in depth the feasibility of any
project a customer may have in
mind.
